Hi, I’m Phil. I’ve been working in development and operations management (a.k.a devops) remotely for a few years at a tech startup based out of Phoenix called AmpX2. At times I’ve worn the hats of programmer, sysadmin, DBA, UI design amongst others but mostly I’m working with systems automation through tools such as Ansible and Docker.

I have been fascinated by the development of the devops space. I like to use open source software and believe in giving back to the community when possible.

What I'm hoping to find is another position in a startup as a devops/reliability engineer. This could be remote work or relocation is also an option. I also feel I am at a place in my career where I could step up into an operations management or CTO role inside a small startup.

I’m especially interested in a position that lets me shape and evolve the operational practices and future of the company I am working with. I have truly enjoyed my work in a startup atmosphere and wish to continue in that environment, whether it be in the same role or a new one.
